These reading glasses are at best +6.5 power, maybe even +6.0. I have a pair of prescription +7.0 power readers and they are quite a bit stronger than these glasses. Not only that but the magnifying lenses are oval but they are inset in rectangular non-magnified lenses for some reason. This is why I believe some reviews claim that the lenses are distorted in some way. Also the frames are so flimsy and fragile that the arms actually feel like pieces of wire. These glasses don't even have springed hinges. This does not bode well for expectations of longevity. These glasses are no where near a good value for the price you pay. I wouldn't even pay 20 USD for these. My recommendation would be to steer clear of these readers.
