I bought them as a Gift for my Sister in Germany, so when she got them she called me right away and was so Happy ( like a Child who never got anything like this ) She got them in time from amazon and was so Happy. They fit perfect and she said she also would like another Pair of Women's Cowboy Boots, but did not tell me yet what kind, I will email her and tell her to go on the American Amazon site and pick out the Pair she wants and I will get them for her.The Price was Great, shipping was amazing and I have a very, very Happy Sister.I wish I could send more stuff from Amazon to my Family in Germany but there are a lot of Products you guys do not ship anymore overseas to Germany , I have my Parents over there and also 6 more siblings and wished that what ever I picked out for Christmas this year, I could not send form the American Amazon site.... I would like to know why you do not send stuff to Germany anymore like you did before. But she loved them a lot :)As noted by others, the upper portion of the boot looks somewhat "cheap" by the non-leather material and the heavy white stitching (which I think would look good on leather but the shine of the synthetic material looks cheesy). Still, that really is the only complaint, offset by the other favorable aspects of the boot. I have a somewhat wide foot and the sizing was PERFECT. Often buying wide is a mistake as the shoe will too wide. In all other respects the size was true to usual lengths for an 8.5. I mostly wear them without socks and find them warm and comfortable, as there is a thin cloth lining in the shoe portion. It is very comfortable and can withstand long days of walking. They are cute and somewhat "funky" when worn for "show" with skirts or leggings, but also wear very well under slacks for a neat dressy-casual look. This is my first pair of western boots and they've inspired me to eventually upgrade to a really nice, all leather pair. But in the meanwhile, these are a near perfect, low investment introduction!I've been looking for a pair of black cowboy boots for a long time. I've been hunting online and in stores for the perfect "look" - something that is a hybrid of what a real cowboy boot looks like but also something sleek and stylish. I found something close to what I was looking for at ALDO, and I tried them on. But at the time, I couldn't justify spending almost $200 on a pair of boots that would only be part of my weekend wear... so I continued my hunt. After seeing a few good reviews on this boot and viewing the photos provided here on amazon, I purchased the boot and it was shipped promptly. When I opened the box, however, I was a little disappointed. They weren't exactly what I was looking for. The fit was okay, but they were a bit clunky (and I know cowboy boots can be as I've tried on a lot of cowboy boots this year) which is something I could have dealt with. But what I didn't like at all was that the white stitching pattern on the trunk of the boot really really stood out. I love the look of stitching on cowboy boots, but I think the blend of the white stitching on these black boots were just off-putting to me. If it's possible, to me, it made the boots look "fake" and cheap (which they were so I shouldn't complain). And so I returned them and got a refund (which was easy and pain-free).Since cowboy boots don't really go out of style, I think I'll wait and invest in a really nice pair. The airline lost my real boots from Nashville but I really loved them so I wanted to get another pair of cowboy boots. I couldn't find the make of my old ones (worn off) so I decided to give these a try. They are great! Very comfy, casual but still nice looking. The calf is a bit loose but my boot cut jeans fit fine over them. There isn't any arch support and I have fairly constant back issues but even with that they are still comfortable enough to wear all day. I've made an effort to wear them in all weather conditions to wear them in and that makes a big difference in comfort level. I've gotten lots of compliments on them and I'm as happy with these as I was my old Nashville boots! Also, I have pretty wide feet and the c width is great. As many of the reviewers have noted, the stitching is white instead of black. (I actually prefer the white stitching since the design is pretty!) Also, the boots do run a bit big. My standard shoe size is between 8-9 and I have to wear my thicker fuzzy socks to make up for the gap in the shoes. However, I've had these boots for several months now and they've held up pretty well, even with lots of hours of intense dancing. I haven't had any issues with the leather wearing, although the black color of the sole has worn off a tiny bit in some places due to some of the "scuffing" moves I do while dancing. (It's a nude color under the black.)Overall, I'd definitely buy these boots again, although probably in a smaller size. I've been very pleased with the quality and comfort, especially with the wear and tear I put the boots through.I bought the boots as a gift for my 15-year-old niece. She was very pleased. She had wanted more of a square-toe, but when she saw these, and tried them on, she declared them, "Perfect." They came well-packed in their original box, and were delivered in the timeframe stated, we were provided with a tracking number and regular updates on delivery.I ordered these a half size largers than my normal shoe size because the price was about $75 dollars less for some reason to get them in 8.5 instead of 8 and I figured I could then just wear two pair of socks or thick socks. They are a tad too big but they are very comfortable while wearing 2 pair of socks - one thin and one thick pair. I wear toe rings on each foot and was afraid that they would be too narrow at the toes so that I would have to take my toe rings off. This was not the case. I wore them all week this last week at the ranch and they were perfect. Protected me during horseback riding as well as fishing as they had sticker bushes near the pond.I felt from far site they look okBut they certainly would not have bought them in a storeThe materials that they were made of was between cardboard and plasticMaybe at Walmart they might sell them for $40 dollarselle n'est pas comme sur la photo les coutures sont blanche et pas confortable du tout dedans il y a une couture juste au dessous du talon
