Hands down the nicest brand of reading glasses. I have purchased this style in both color combos. They are stylish and well made. Very unique and edgy. Best purchase! I refuse to buy any other brand than Scojo. Definitely worth the extra money. These are magnifying (reading) reading glasses with a partial blue light-blocking coating. Because they are only partial blue light blockers, they don't even change perceived colors (I checked). You can see blue light reflected off the lenses if you shine light at them. Why would you want blue light blockers? The topic of blue light blocking in glasses is hotly debated. Proponents assert that blue light blockers can help with a variety of issues, such as:* Reduction of headaches* Reduced eyestrain* Better sleep through the increased natural production of melatoninSome studies suggest a correlation between blue light-blocking glasses and some/all of the above. There are, however, many studies that have failed to find a significant correlation. I'd say the jury is out. The one thing everyone probably agrees upon is that even if they don't help, they can't hurt. So a lot of people now use them.Trying out blue light blockers for myself, I can't say I've noticed any big changes. I don't normally have trouble sleeping (even though I'm always on my phone and watching TV before bed). And I don't get headaches in front of the computer or on my phone. So the bar for me to identify functionality is high.I will say that these glasses are easy to use and don't distort or discolor what I'm watching. So worst case scenario, they do nothing. But the quality lenses aren't adding anything unwanted. These glasses are comfortable and feel OK when I put them on. They seem ideal for narrower faces. I found myself with a bit of temple fatigue after wearing them for a couple of hours--but nothing terrible. They weigh around 1.5oz. That's not super heavy, but it's appreciably more heavy than some wire-frame glasses of similar quality, which can weight as little as 0.5oz. So if weight is hugely important to you, be aware. The glasses in China (see photos)--a bit disappointing or glasses in this price range. The frames are rather large and look oversized even on my reasonably large face. So these won't be for everyone. They make a statement, for sure. I like them at home, but I wouldn't bring them to work, for example. On the whole, these are good quality and do what they promise. Style decisions will be up to the buyer! In the package:** Reading glasses** Fitted hard case** Cleaning clothPros:** Good-quality construction** Only partial blue light blocking means colors look normal** Unusual frames make a statementCons:** Relatively more expensive than many glasses with similar functionality** A bit narrow, better suited to narrow faces for long-term wear** Made in ChinaWhen I sent my sis a pic of me in these reading glasses, she said I looked like a movie star! lol! These are really cute and hip and I love that they block the blue light from phone and computer screens.I feel that they are really well-made, but I did find they were a bit heavy for me to wear all day long. So I'll probably wear them when I go out for meetings with clients.I’d give these 4.5 stars if I could- the quality is there and they look great, but the fit might be off.First of all, I was impressed by the quality of these blue light blocking glasses. They’re a nice thick acetate type material, and they feel very sturdy. They aren’t flimsy at all. They are also definitely the cutest blue light blocking glasses I’ve ever seen. The shape is very flattering, and the color will go with everything.Unfortunately they’re too small for my face. I have a narrow head so I’m not sure how they’d do for the average person. The arms of the frame dig into my head uncomfortably, and somehow the nose piece still slides down. Everyone’s face is different so they’re worth trying, but if you normally take a wider prescription glasses frame that’s something to consider. I’m going to take them to my optometrist to see if they can add a nose pad and adjust the arms, but with the way they fit now they might still be too narrow. Most of the time glasses are way too big on me, and I struggle to find prescription frames that are small enough, so I was surprised to find them too small. I usually have to order the narrowest available width when I shop for glasses.Other than that, the blue light blocking seems like a good amount for everyday wear - it’s barely noticeable when they’re placed over white cardboard. Some blue light blocking glasses are obviously yellow/orange tinted when you’re looking at them but these appear essentially clear. These are definitely pricey as far as readers go but they might be worth it if you want some thing high quality and stylish. If you tend to lose your glasses a lot these probably aren’t for you. Overall I can see the appeal and I wish they worked. I won’t deduct a star for fit issues because everyone is different, but do keep in mind that they aren’t “one size fits all.”I could tell immediately unpackaging that these are a pair of beautifully handcrafted blue light blocking cheaters. Extremely sturdy and well-made, gorgeous tortoiseshell frames. The hinges are strong and tight! The lenses are crystal clear, they feel and appear to be made of a glass product. They are extremely comfortable even when wearing for many hours at a time. I find myself searching for them to use these more than other pairs of cheaters I have lying around the house. The price point being above $80 is a little difficult to rectify especially if you lose glasses or break them often. However these are so well-made that I see them lasting for many years. Highly recommend these for the above mentioned attributes if you’re looking to splurge on your eyewear.Very cute pattern eyeglasses, I can't use them however the strength is too strong for me.
